WALCOTT PUNX NOT DEAD!!
July 17th saw Ostend Gap come to life as Naomi and Martin Price and their extended Punk Rock Family held a charity event in aid of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the N&N hospital.
People travelled far and wide to enjoy a day of live music, a bbq and a raffle for the worthy cause raising a grand total of £575.
Naomi and Martin chose the NICU as both their sons were born premature, their grandson spent a few weeks in the unit in Bristol and many of their friends children have benefited from the unit at the N&N and so thought it would be a nice way to say thank you for all they have done and continue to do to help save the lives of many sick, premature babies.
The Price family would like to thank everyone who came along, all those who donated money despite not coming on the day, and all the bands that played for free.
A special thanks to Simon Saddler for all his hard work arranging the bands, Titch from Rhythmic PA for supplying the sound equipment, Mr Holgate for allowing the use of his land for parking, Styx Tattoo, Indigo Norwich, Jolly Roger Tattoo Studio, Roys of Wroxham, QD stores and David Walters for donating vouchers for the raffle and Norman Lamb for coming along and showing his support.
An even bigger thanks to all our neighbours for being so understanding throughout the day and to each and every member of our punk rock family for showing once again that it doesn’t matter what you look like on the outside that matters it’s whats on the inside that counts.
Punx Not Dead Indeed! Nice one!
